In a heartfelt moment at the Tribeca TV Festival, Jon shared his admiration for Liev Schreiber, who plays his son on the hit show Ray Donovan. "I deeply appreciate his enormous talent," Jon said with enthusiasm. "But honestly, nothing compares to the joy of working with my own daughter. There's a special bond there that you just can't replicate."
Rebuilding Relationships: A Journey of Healing
Over the years, Jon Voight has faced challenges in his family life, particularly during the 1970s when a period of estrangement began. However, Jon has since made peace with his daughter, Angelina Jolie. This reconciliation wasn't just about mending one relationship; it was about healing the entire family. After Angelina opened up about how they’ve worked through their ups and downs, her older brother, James Haven, also revealed that he too has reconnected with their father.
James spoke candidly to Closer Weekly in an exclusive interview earlier this spring about the healing process. “It was really a trifecta, meaning she found peace with him, and I found peace,” he explained. “This story has come full circle. A big part of it is just coming to that point where you deal with and solve and rectify things. It’s truly fulfilling.”
